Keynote - The human touch in software development

Canon is known as one of the world's most innovative companies. It's primarily known for its hardware, such as cameras and printers, but this hardware can't exist without software. At Canon Production Printing, we're focused on accelerating digital imaging technologies and developing high-tech printing products for professional customers, ranging from creative studios around the corner to blue-chip multinationals around the globe.

We believe that software adds the behavior to our products: it ties together complex functionality and makes it accessible to our customers. Moreover, software plays a vital role during product development, as it enables for example model-based development for multidisciplinary teams. 

In this talk, we'll explore how we organize software development within CPP, creating optimal value for our customers as well as for our internal organization.
