The latest computer virus is called burnout and only motivated people can get it

Today, 1 in 7 people who work have incipient or advanced burnout symptoms. I was diagnosed with it in 2017, and the road to (almost full) recovery was quite long. Still, I could have prevented it, provided I had known what to look out for.

An employee with burnout is sick an average of 279 working days. During recovery, I learned a lot about what burnout is, how you get it, what you can do about it and how you can prevent it. But also what the difference is from being stressed.

In my presentation I cover all these points, and also why motivated people are the most vulnerable. I hope that after this talk people can self-diagnose what extent they themselves are in the danger zone. No technical or other prior knowledge is required for this presentation.

Given the personal story, this presentation will not be recorded. The presentation is informational in nature and is not "heavy."
